This was an utter godsend that I didn’t even know was needed! My mum uses it to help her get out of bed, and to help her get off the sofa. It was pretty simple to set up, and it fits well on his standard sized bed without getting in the way. The reinforced armrest makes a big difference it gives him a solid grip and makes the movement in and out of bed feel a lot more stable. I also like that it comes with a strap to anchor it in place, so there’s no wobbling.

This bed rail mobility aid is ideal for my family member who now needs help to sit up in bed when I’m not around to aid them myself. It arrived ready for me to put together which wasn’t hard to do and I especially liked I could put the side padded foam handle on either side to suit the side of our bed and the hand/arm side of my family member which has the best strength to aid in their movements. The base of the bed rail slips under the mattress to sit in place on the divan/slat situation which combined with the family members weight when in bed keeps it firmly in place. If and When it’s no longer needed I do like the knowledge that it can be passed on to another family member in need of it and it will work well because of its versatility. At the time of ordering the cost was £49.99 with a £10.00 discount meaning the total price point was £39.99 which is value for money in my personal opinion based on it’s quality.

I initially bought one to help my husband get in and out of bed. I bought a second one to stop his legs falling out the side of the bed when he was sleeping. So easy to assemble. Very sturdy. Solved the problem of him falling out of bed. Highly recommend.

Got this to see if it would be useful for my elderly father who struggles to get out of bed and off the sofa due to severely arthritic knees.Easy to put together, excellent quality and very sturdy. Instructions easy to follow and comes with its own alan key.Have tried it on the bed - easy to adjust and fix in place but also tried it on the sofa as he really struggles to get up from it - works a treat! Just adjusted the base length and the height and slid it under the main cushion, tried it in two different positions and both worked really well.Very pleased with this item and I definitely recommend it - have nothing negative to say about it

Came well packed, each part wrapped and then in a bag and wrapped again and in a cardboard box.It comes with clear instructions, 2 bolts & washers and an allen key. I would say it is quicker to put together than unwrap it. The strap is so you can attach to the end of the bit that slides under the mattress and attach to a rail for added security.After I ordered it I suddenly realised that the bed I was going to use it on has a sunken mattress and so it wouldnt work with it. At a push I could have it sitting on the floor under the bed which is low and attach the strap to a rail under there however instead we've decided to use a divan bed instead. With the divan we cannot attach the strap but it really isnt necessary. With a heavy mattress and it pushed right underneath it isn't going to come out.There are adjustable heights for the handrail, 2 pockets on one and a larger one on the other which attach with velcro to the rail. The padding on the handrail itself is comfy to hold onto and not slippy.My husband is having abdominal surgery and has bad knees so we've tried it out and it works best for him near the head of the bed. He will be able to swing his legs off the bed and push/hold on with his left handed. In my pictures the pockets are turned round the other way as we were working out whether it was more useful to have the larger pocket on the inside for his book - however its easy to flip it over to change depending on your needs. I wish we had had something like this with my dad who fell from his bed a couple of times trying to stand up.My husbands op isnt for a couple of weeks so i've easily disassembled and put into the box safe in the knowledge it literally takes 10 mins to reassemble. Once he has recovered I will happily store as I have a feeling my mother shall be needing something similar soon

This was easy to assemble and adjust and felt very sturdy.This was placed under their mattress providing a grab rail to assist raising from lying to sitting position, moving to the bed edge and then standing from the sitting position. This also helps to maintain a position in bed and the hanging pockets are great for storing a remote control and a small packet of hankies.Originally priced at £39.99, this has now been reduced to £36.99 which is great value for money.
